BUSY SOUNDSCAPES | 2012
Motion Graphics, Video, Sound, Art
This was produced in my Motion Class With Gareth Walsh as he asked us to create a landscape out of sound.
I decided to use my father's metal factory and recorded unique sounds from a Lathe to a Drill Press, Air Compressor and more. After, I created this animation dealing with rotation, time, and the feeling of being busy.
Duchamp's work with rotoreliefs as "art if the mind" has heavily influenced this piece.
